About this tuition course

Chemistry A-Level lesson will start an in-depth review and discussion of a topic before we move on to practice questions. In our virtual classroom, we can share resources such as animations and simulations as well as interactive quizzes and exam questions. This is a great opportunity to brush up on areas of difficulty and prepare thoroughly, using past paper questions, so that you can approach the exams with confidence. Each session is fully interactive, and you will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get valuable feedback and advice on answering exam questions, exam technique and revision strategy. 

Lesson Plan:

Section I: Atomic structure, Amount of substance, Bonding, Periodicity, Introduction to Organic Chemistry, Alkanes and Alkenes

Section II: Energetics, Halogenoalkanes, Group 2 Elements

Section III: Kinetics, Group 7 elements, Period 3 Oxides, Alcohols

Section IV: Redox, Equilibria and Kc, Organic Analysis

Your Tutor for this Course

The Chemistry A-Level is taught by Haroon Patel. He has BSc in Chemistry as well as a PGCE in the 11-18 age range and holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).  Haroon is teaching Chemistry for more than 14 years in different schools in Northern England.
